Jenna

Dental Assistant
Jenna is a dental assistant from Flower Mound, Texas, trained in College Station and moved to Austin in 2023! When not at work she enjoys attending live concerts, exploring the Austin outdoors, and spending time with her dog, Eevee. Jenna brings a positive attitude and a passion for patient care to the ream, always striving to make each visit comfortable and enjoyable.

Angie

Dental Assistant
Angie was born in Mexico but grew up in Austin. She graduated from Crockett High School and got her RDA certificate from Austin Assistant School in Cedar Park in 2016. She has two boys, Emanuel, who is 10, and Ezequiel, who is 6! When she is not working she is with her boys at soccer practice and games. They love attending church on Sundays and she is always helping out there. She is in the music ministry and teaches class with small children. Angie loves working with kids.

Tori

Dental Hygienist
Tori is a Louisiana native who received her degree from Southern University of Shreveport, LA. You might say hygiene is in her genes as her mom is also a Dental Hygienist. After several years of working in Shreveport, Tori moved to Austin in 2021. She has been enjoying what Austin has to offer and spends ample time with her pup Reesie.

Madalyn

Dental Hygienist
Madalyn is from Frisco, Texas. She graduated in May of 2021 from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is passionate about prevention and is looking forward to helping patients achieve their healthy smile. In her free time she likes to catch live shows, read, and spend time with friends and family as well as trying new restaurants. She can’t wait to meet you!

Megan

Dental Hygienist
Megan arrived in Austin seven years ago by way of the Northwest. She received her dental hygiene degree from Eastern Washington University in 2000. A native Texan, she was overjoyed to return with her three boys and husband of twenty five years. Her interest include cooking, two-steppin and any live music within a 60 miles radius!

Stephanie

Front Desk
Stephanie started her dental career in 1999. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas and has plans to stay in this beautiful city. She has been married to her husband Ryan for 15 years and they have two teenagers Kayden and Sarah. She stayed home to raise their children and now that they are older she is excited to be back in the dental field. Stephanie is a people person and truly enjoys interacting with patients and staff alike. When away from the office you will catch Stephanie singing instead of talking. But who we are kidding, she sings at the office too!

Renee

Front Desk
Renee’ was born in Bastrop, Texas, but raised right here in Austin and graduated from Johnston High School with Honors. Renee received her RDA in 2003 after completing the RDA program at Allied Health Careers. She truly believes in our dental office mission! Her priority is to help patients oral health and to ensure a positive experience and not JUST a dental appointment. Renee’ has worked alongside Mia and Dr. Horne since 2006 until relocating to our Circle C office in 2015. She is a proud mom/grandma of three children and four grandchildren. Renee’ is an excellent cook and also enjoys spending time outdoors. You can say Renee’ is somewhat of a workaholic, but when enjoying time away from work she is with the love of her life Eddie, who also has daughters and grandchildren, and their two wolf hybrids Lobo and Chica.

Dr. Valerie Doyle, DDS

Dentist
Dr. Doyle is a native Texan and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Houston and then went on to graduate dental school from the UT Health Science Center at Houston in 2007. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

She moved to Austin with her husband, Andrew, who is from New Zealand, and two boys, Liam and Luke. When not practicing dentistry, you can find Dr. Doyle at her sons’ soccer games, volunteering at their schools or having fun outdoors. Dr. Doyle is excited to have made Austin and Circle C her home.

Tiffany

Front Desk
Tiffany is a recent Austin transplant coming to us from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a loving wife and mother to three grown children and her furbaby, Jax. In March 2024, she added the title of grandma to a sweet baby girl! Tiffany has over 30 years of experience in the dental field, working as an assistant and front office specialist. When not in the office, making her coworkers laugh and patients smile, she can be found tending to her yard or finding new restaurants to try around town.

Annie

Dental Assistant
Annie is a well rounded dental assistant with over 5 years of experience. She has ventured in many aspects of dentistry and has a strong passion to provide a comfortable environment for all patients. Annie was born and raised in California, and enjoys being outdoors with her husband and dog, Ruby. Moving to Austin was an unexpectedly happy life event that has allowed her to make new lifelong friends and memories.

Ilsa

Dental Assistant
Ilsa is an RDA best known for her excellent bedside manner and passion for dental education. Coworkers describe her as the office pop culture specialist and karaoke queen. Ilsa was born and raised in ATX where spends her summers enjoying Barton Springs, the true heart of the city. She also love trying new food around town and making friends everywhere she goes! When not in the office or about town, you can find Ilsa and her husband managing their farm where they raise chickens, goats and pigs.

Ashley

Dental Hygienist
Ashley was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She has been in the dental industry since 2014 where she started as a dental assistant then continued her education and received her degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Austin Community College. She enjoys meeting new people and is passionate about helping her patients feel more at ease with their dental treatments. She is committed to educating her patients on the importance of good oral hygiene in order to help improve upon their oral health, as well as their overall systemic health. She is a proud dog mom who enjoys spending her free time doing pilates, reading, and taking dance classes.

Tori

Dental Hygienist

Rae Lynn

Dental Hygienist
Rae Lynn was born in Austin and raised on a ranch in the Driftwood/Buda area. She started working in the dental field in 2009 as a dental assistant and has also worked front desk before continuing her education and receiving her degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Austin Community College. She is committed to educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene so that they leave with a good understanding of how to keep their teeth for a lifetime. She likes spending her time with her fur-babies (3 dogs & 2 cats), reading, and enjoying the outdoors however she can.

Mandy

Dental Hygienist
Mandy grew up in Oregon. She attended Oregon State University and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Mt. Hood Community College. After several years of working in Portland, she and her husband moved to Austin. Mandy enjoys spending time with her family and two young children. In her spare time she likes the outdoors, traveling and Austin’s booming food scene.

Rebekah

Dental Hygienist
Rebekah moved to Austin in 1996 from the small town of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She is a graduate of UT and has called Austin her home for over 20 years. She loves the laid back vibe of this city and all the outdoor activities it has to offer. Rebekah is wife to Chris and mother to her two children, Brooks & Elle. She loves being a hygienist because of the relationships she builds and the people she gets to connect with. She is also passionate about fitness, traveling, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and God.

Sarah

Front Desk
Sarah was born and raised in Southern California until 2006 when she left to attend Texas Tech University. Since joining Dr. Horne’s team in 2015, she has enjoyed forging new relationships all while helping patients choose their best path to a healthy and beautiful smile. When not at work, she can be found with her husband, Dave, and daughter, Lillybelle, exploring all that Austin has to offer.

Mia

Team Leader
Mia has been involved in dentistry since 1997 and has assisted Dr. Horne since 2003. Mia is a registered Dental Assistant with the State of Texas. Mia loves caring for each patient as she would her own family. When she is not busy in the office, she is busy with her husband, Randy and their four children, Jacob, Marissa, Caleb and Luke. She is very active in her children’s schools and extracurricular activities. She enjoys listening to crooner musicians and traveling with her family. Mia is proud to be a native Austinite and the youngest of ten siblings.

Dr. Jordan Slagter

Dentist
Dr. Jordan Slagter graduated as valedictorian from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2012. She was the recipient of several awards in general dentistry and oral surgery, including the Diamond Scholar award which earned her placement in an intensive two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, with special focus in cosmetic dentistry, dental implant placement, full-mouth rehabilitation and smile makeovers.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Slagter moved to Austin in 2013 where she has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for over 10 years. She is passionate about patient care, striving to make each patient’s dental visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Dr. Slagter takes pride in her artistic approach to cosmetic dentistry, and loves improving the smiles and confidence of her patients.

Dr. Slagter and her husband Adam are the lucky parents of two beautiful daughters, Elliott and Lucy. They are also proud Penn State Nittany Lions! Outside of dentistry, Dr. Slagter spends her time traveling, cooking, entertaining, being outdoors, and going on adventures as a family.

Dr. Matthew Horne, DDS

Dentist
Dr. Horne is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he also received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was one of the very few who received the prestigious Navy Health Professional scholarship through dental school. Dr. Horne then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in San Diego, CA. After serving as a dentist in the Navy for four years, and traveling the world, Dr. Horne made Austin his home.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Capital Area Dental Society, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Horne is also a member of the Seattle Study Club, and is a Mentor of the Kois Center, featuring John Kois, arguably the most influential dentist of our time. Dr. Horne is also a graduate of the Ickert Implant Teaching Center in Vancouver British Colombia.

Dr. Horne chose dentistry to not only help people stay healthy, but to directly have a positive impact on their lives. When not at the office, you can find Dr. Horne and his wife Ashley enjoying just about anything outside with their two boys, Brayden and Logan, and their daughter Hadley. Dr. Horne and his wife are also active members of Lake Hills Church and the Austin community.
