It is considered up there with the other top paints such as Old Holland, Harding, Blockx, etc...much higher quality of product and a much higher amount of top-notch pigment loaded with minimal oil/fillers/binders. I'm not going to return them because in my effort to find happiness in the colors I used too much of the product and it would be shameful to return them used. They sent nine beautiful 37mm tubes of M. Graham oil paint—a full palette of color—plus two bottles of walnut oil and walnut oil alkyd. I couple days later I got an email from them asking for my address—they were paint-makers and wanted to send some samples. These paints are NOT high quality/ pure pigment. I like the idea of painting with a non-yellowing medium—walnut oil. I was delighted the sample bottles of walnut oil did not have childproof lids that strain my early-stage arthritic hands. I paint super thin so a tube will last me forever, and the color sets with the smaller sized tubes work best for me to be able to try new colors without committing to fun sized tubes. Graham’s was a color chart—just adding titanium white to each color and comparing that to the equivalent Old Holland colors that I had been using. Golden paints bought Williamsburg :( and while they brag about their high pigment quantity the proof is in the pudding and their colors absolutely fade. I rarely introduce new brands or colors to my palette, preferring the utter predictability of a few familiar colors.
